  • Project Progress: Pyle Driveway Bridge

    G. Douglas Vallee Limited is currently working on the Pyle Driveway Bridge deck replacement near Lowbanks, Ontario. Prior to construction, the superstructure showed signs of severe deterioration and the structure had a load restriction implemented. The deck has now been replaced with a prefabricated steel superstructure. This approach revitalizes the structure while using the existing abutments, and minimizes bridge closure time. Through this process, the bridge was out-of-service for only 34 hours! Construction is now complete, and the bridge is open for use.
