You will complete on-site inspection of engineering works during the construction period and appropriate reporting and coordination of testing. Contract administration of construction contract between the Owner and the Contractor including progress payments, change orders, certificates of substantial performance and release of holdbacks is required. You will also complete engineering drawings and designs, assist in tender development and perform cost estimation for both private and public sector projects. A high level of proficiency with AutoCAD in civil engineering applications is required. A Diploma, CET designation, and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience are all definite assets.

Our range in services are provided in many geographies, with a focus in Norfolk County, Niagara, Haldimand, and Oxford County. Our Planning team prepares development applications for pre-consultation, Zoning By-law and Official Plan Amendments, Committee of Adjustment applications, Plans of Subdivision, Plans of Condominium, and Site Plans.

Under the supervision of the Director of Planning, the Planner will be active in all aspects of planning including the preparation of justification reports considering relevant policy, zoning, supporting studies and the context in which the development occurs. The Planner will prepare presentations and speak at public meetings when necessary, conduct site visits and meet with clients and agency staff, both virtually and in person.
